February 2025
- A Man on the Inside (2024- ) - cute and short and getting a second season. everyone in this show was either on The Good Place or Brooklyn 99.
- Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl (2024) - the ONLY nostaligia bait i'll allow 10/10 stars, deserves its oscar nomination for lighting and color alone, no notes.
- The Pope's Exorcist (2023) - i'm not sure why this only has 50% on rotten tomatoes tbh it was great. and they actually lit and color graded this one instead of leaving me muddy and in the dark. i read one review where someone was like "oh the jokes are bad" those are dad jokes. gabriele is a father, after all.
- The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent (2022) - i love movies where you can tell that the actors really had fun and nicolas cage had the MOST fun on this one and also i can now see what the tumblr girlies loved about pedro pascal. he has chocolate lab energy like the saddest, wettest brown eyes chef's kiss.
- Columbo - S1 (1971) - i'm trying to get back into the habit of watching actual media instead of just staring at youtube for 8-10 hours a day and columbo is perfect for that. every episode is perfectly paced and i adore peter falk. plus, prime finally has it without ads so that's a nice little bonus. plus bonus i get to indulge my love of 70s tv and movie stars because i get to see them all in one place. the only show better for this is Love Boat which i can't find anywhere :(
- Arcanium: Rise of Akhan (2020) - a nice card battler that reminds me of hearthstone without the embarassment of me getting smashed by someone who plays a lot more than i do. i'm currently achievement hunting for the seratonin of it all and we're at 45/87
- Emerald Maiden: Symphony of Dreams (2016) - i love a good HOG and this one was actually pretty good
- Family Mysteries 3: Criminal Mindset (2020) - i continue to love HOGs and this one lets me pat dogs so 10/10
