looking 4 some music?
music taste feeling stale? can't find anything new to listen to because spotify has a vested interest in feeding you artists that probably pay them to promote? well, there are ways...
- find a song you like on youtube and follow the reccomended videos in the sidebar until you're somewhere completely new
- the thirteen year old pinterest girlies (gn) whose only social media is pinterest have wild ass music tastes. they'll ask you if you've ever heard of this cool band called 'metallica' and then hit you with a band that you never could have conceived was real. they also have fun ass names for music genres that are definitely made up.
- the just purchased feed on bandcamp's front page. people... people be shopping. for music, specifically. in addition to bandcamp being goof for finding music, they also pay their artists about 80% of money spent on their music and merch.
- okay, go back to bandcamp. find your favorite album. go the supporter section on the album page and look at the other users until you find someone with one of the following: a meme pfp, an anime pfp, or a furry. click on their profile and start scrolling. you will find music that's even farther out than the 13-year-old pinterest girly's music and you won't regret it.
